Oy Klippan Ab has over 40 years of experience in producing safety belts (1959) and child safety seats (1967). In the future we will focus our resources on KLIPPAN safety products for use in cars, working environments, homes and free-times. We will also focus on products for car dealers and customers with needs for special products, product development and testing. Oy Klippan Ab has been granted the following quality certificates: ISO 9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004






Rearward facing since 1967


the First child seat from Oy klippan Ab was praised both for its safety and comfort.

The new seat was also said to be the base for the new norm. In order to protect the child in the best way, this seat was designed to be rearward faced. 

this way of travelling is till considered to be the safest for children less than 3 years..








Crash Rig 




All the seats tests are deasible to run on the crash rig:


On our test rig we can make dynamic tests with car body and dynamic tests according to ECE R16.05 and child seat tests according to ECE R44.04 and side impact test with child seats. Test with car seats and ambulance equipment and their attachments for example attachments for stretchers and first aid bags. We can also make special tests with a speed from 15 to 60 km/h.
