The Opti 129 from Klippan is one of the car seats with the highest weight and height limits on the market. The Opti 129 can be used for children weighing up to 32kg. Its unique design means that it can be used for children up to the age of 7.
The shell of the Opti 129 is one of the highest on the market and one of the most progressive. It can accommodate children up to 125cm tall.
The Opti 129 benefits from the latest headrest developed by Klippan. This makes it more ergonomic and enveloping.
This car seat was the first car seat without Isofix anchorage to be approved to the i-Size R129 standard. It is also Plus Test approved, a guarantee of high safety.

The Opti 129 is easily installed using the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt. It is compatible with all vehicles and can be used on the back seat as well as the front seat.

The footrest on the front of the Opti 129 reclines the car seat by 10°. This will allow your child to travel comfortably and make it easier to sleep on long journeys. Pockets inside the seat allow extra foam cushions to be placed to make the seat more comfortable for little ones.

The Klippan Opti 129 car seat can be used with the child's back to the road from 9 to 32kg (i.e. from 9 months to around 7 years).
As a specialist in extended rear-facing car seats, Klippan recommends that your children travel with their backs to the road for as long as possible. In the event of a collision, the risk of serious injury is 5 times lower in a rear-facing car seat than in a forward-facing seat.
According to the R44/04 approval, children weighing up to 9 kg must travel with their backs to the road. With the Opti 129, you can extend this period by using the seat rear-facing up to 32 kg. The aim is to guarantee perfect protection in the event of a collision. In the event of a frontal impact in an accident, the child's body is pushed to the bottom of the seat instead of being propelled forward. This protects the sensitive areas (head, neck and spine) that become more robust from the age of 4 onwards.

Tutorial for installation in a vehicle
Follow these steps to install this car seat correctly in your vehicle
Installation with seat belt
- Place the seat in the vehicle, either in the middle of the seat or by moving it back to the edge of the vehicle seat.
- Attach the reinforcement straps to the rails under the front seat or to the brackets under the rear seat.
- Then unfold the strut and adjust it so that it is fixed to the vehicle floor.
- Pass the seatbelt through the green attachment hooks on either side of the car seat, then fasten the seatbelt.
- Pull on the seatbelt. Then pass it through the green clip and close it.
- Adjust the reinforcement straps so that the seat is perfectly attached and fixed.
