The Modukid Seat from Axkid is a spacious car seat with a depth-adjustable Isofix base in 6 positions (ranging from a compact installation to one with greater legroom). This adjustable base will ensure that your child is perfectly comfortable even as he or she grows.
The Modukid Seat comes with a removable headrest cushion for the little ones.
The seat also comes with ASIP (Axkid Side Impact Protection) side impact protection. This protection was developed in collaboration with a renowned German accident research institute. The ASIP should be positioned on the side of the car seat facing the car door, offering the best possible protection for your child in the event of a side impact.

The Axkid Modukid Seat can be used with the child's back to the road from 61 to 105 cm (i.e. from 6 months to around 4 years).
As a specialist in extended rear-facing car seats, Axkid recommends that your children travel with their backs to the road for as long as possible. In the event of a collision, the risk of serious injury is 5 times lower in a rear-facing car seat than in a forward-facing seat.
According to the R44/04 approval, children up to 9 kg must travel with their backs to the road. Approval R129 allows this requirement to be extended by making it compulsory for children to travel with their backs to the road until they are at least 15 months old, the aim being to guarantee perfect protection in the event of a collision. In the event of a frontal impact in an accident, the child's body is pushed to the bottom of the seat instead of being propelled forward. This protects the sensitive areas (head, neck and spine) that become more robust from the age of 4 onwards.

Tutorial for installation in a vehicle
Follow these steps to install this car seat correctly in your vehicle
Installation with the Isofix base
- Unfold the strut and position the base on the vehicle seat.
- Pull the grey button on the left of the base to deploy the left Isofix point. Pull the grey button on the right of the base to deploy the right Isofix point.
- Clip the base's Isofix connectors onto the vehicle's Isofix anchorage points. ‘CLICK’ The locking indicators turn green.
- Adjust the depth of the Isofix system and/or the anti-bounce bar according to the space required for your child's legs.
- Adjust the height of the strut so that it rests firmly on the vehicle floor. The strut must rest entirely on the vehicle floor and must not lift the base. An audible signal will sound until the strut is properly installed.
- Position the seat on the base. ‘The lock indicator on the back of the base turns green.
- Position the side protection on the side of the car seat closest to the vehicle door.
